The Challenge

Turning a store reopening into a brand statement

For the reopening of Nike Berlin, Rizlly was brought in to deliver a wide package of storytelling and branded feature elements as part of the wider flagship refurbishment. The brief was to help reintroduce the store with greater visual impact, sharper category storytelling and a stronger sense of Nike identity across the space, while working within an evolving scope and a fixed reopening programme.

The project called for a broad mix of permanent and campaign-led elements, from large-scale graphics and illuminated signage through to bespoke feature pieces and floor treatments, all of which had to sit comfortably within the wider store build and meet Nike’s changing guidelines as the project developed. At the centre of the brief was the Nike Goddess sculpture, a prominent hero piece that needed to feel worthy of the flagship setting while being engineered, produced and installed within a tight lead time.

With multiple bespoke elements progressing in parallel, close coordination across design, production and site teams was critical to keep the project moving and deliver the store ready for reopening.

OUR SCOPE

Engineered, produced and piloted by Rizlly.

Rizlly worked directly with Nike’s Story team and designers to engineer, produce, deliver and install a broad package of store elements across the Berlin reopening.

Our scope included the technical development and production of the freestanding Nike Goddess sculpture, LED signage and ceiling fixtures, alongside extensive story graphics, vinyls, wallpaper and wheatpaste posters. We also produced custom rubber rugs, recycled felt elements and a number of bespoke in-store details, including running bib ceiling features. Rizlly managed logistics and carried out multiple installation phases across graphics, sculpture, rugs and associated branded elements throughout the store.
